Thermo Scientific BIOS 16 and A Bioprocessing Centrifuges are specifically designed for large volume applications. They feature GreenCool technology, a next-generation natural refrigerant (CO2) cooling system, reducing the environmental impact (GWP of only 1). This advanced technology reduces energy consumption and enhances overall cooling performance, contributing to lower operational costs. BIOS centrifuges provide high throughput with 16 L capacity and global compliance standards. Enhanced ergonomics, reduced noise levels, and lighter weight contribute to an improved laboratory environment.
Thermo Scientific BIOS 16 and BIOS A Centrifuges are high-capacity centrifuges specifically designed for large-capacity and bioprocessing applications. These innovative floor-standing instruments incorporate GreenCool Technology, utilizing a natural CO2 refrigerant cooling system that complies with upcoming EU and US EPA F-gas regulations. This refrigerant boasts a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of only 1, significantly reducing the environmental impact of centrifuge operation. Additionally, GreenCool technology offers reduced energy consumption, lower heat output, rapid cool-down times, and excellent temperature stability.
Available in two models, these centrifuges offer the flexibility to select higher capacity rotors or match existing workflows, with a choice of nine Thermo Scientific rotors:
