Applications
Adapté au marquage fluorescent de la Rhodamine B, il est utilisé comme colorant laser, agent chélateur de métaux et comme additif pour les médicaments et les cosmétiques. Il sert également de colorant fluorescent, qui est utilisé comme colorant pour encres, papiers et plastiques. De plus, il est utilisé pour fabriquer des pigments fluorescents roses. Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau, le benzène et l’éthanol. Légèrement soluble dans l’acétone, l’acide chlorhydrique, l’hydroxyde de sodium, la cellosolve de méthyle et l’alcool.
