- The assay detects both natural and recombinant rat VEGF-C. The cross reactivity and interference of circulating factors of the immune system was evaluated by spiking these proteins at physiologically relevant concentrations into a rat VEGF-C positive serum. There was no cross reactivity or interference detected, notably not with rat VEGF-A, VEGF-B, VEGF-D, PDGF-AA,PDGF-BB, PLGF, HGF, EGF, VEGF-R1 and KDR.
