RFRP-3 is an inhibitory hormone that is a homolog of the gonadotropin-inhibitory hormone (GnIH) and blocks release of gonadotropin from GnRH in the pituitary. Inhibits cAMP accumulation and progesterone production from FSH, LH, and forskolin in granulosa-lutein cells. Agonist of the G protein-coupled receptor 147 (GPR147 or NPFF1). Provided as 500μg of dry powder.
