The QuantiGene Plex Mouse Neuroscience Panel 15-plex, enables measurement of expression of relevant mouse genes associated with neuroscience and brain development through the analysis of 15 RNA targets and housekeeping genes in a single well using Luminex xMAP technology.
The QuantiGene Plex Mouse Neuroscience Panel, 15-plex, enables measurement of expression of relevant genes in mice associated with neuroscience and brain development through the analysis of 15 RNA targets and housekeeping genes in a single well using Luminex xMAP technology in combination with branched DNA signal amplification. This panel contains key genes that are involved in dynamic processes regulating brain development and neurobiology.
Targets: Ahsg, Apoe, Bdnf, Cfh, Cntf, Fgf21, Gdnf, Gfap, Ncam1, Ngf, Nrgn, Uchl1, Gapdh, Hprt, Ppib
QuantiGene Plex panels are extensively tested for target combinability, interference, and cross-reactivity to provide outstanding levels of validation and precision.
This panel is used in combination with the QuantiGene Plex Assay Kit, which contains all buffers, plates, and detection reagents necessary to perform the assay in 96-well plates.
Features of QuantiGene Plex panels include:
Panel and signal amplification technology
QuantiGene Plex assays are hybridization-based assays for the direct quantitation of RNA directly from cell lysates, tissue homogenates, or purified RNA, and they enable the measurement of multiple targets in the same well via multiplexing. QuantiGene Plex panels contain two components: a target-specific probe set and magnetic capture beads. The target-specific probes are used to capture the RNA of interest, and branched DNA technology then amplifies the fluorescent signals, which are read with a Luminex xMAP instrument. The intensity of the fluorescent signal is directly proportional to the amount of target mRNA present in the sample. This allows for (relative) quantification of gene expression and, with this specific panel, enables human immune profiling. Detailed and step-by-step data analysis is facilitated by the QuantiGene Plex data analysis app.
Applications
QuantiGene Plex assay research applications include compound screening of drug candidates, biomarker verification, siRNA knockdown efficiency determination, prospective and/or retrospective analysis of clinical samples, microarray validation, predictive toxicology research, and translocation/fusion gene detection. In general, any multiplex gene expression analysis can be done with QuantiGene Plex assays, independent of species or sample type.
