Yellow dye (Reactive group: NHS ester). Application: confocal microscopy, super resolution microscopy (SRM) including dSTORM. Suitable for live cell imaging
Application: Suitable for confocal microscopy and super resolution microscopy (SRM) techniques, including dSTORM (in both live and fixed cells). Janelia Fluor™ 525, NHS ester is cell permeable.
Properties and Photophysical Data: NHS ester can be converted to relevant substrate for use in self-labeling tag systems, e.g. HaloTag™ and SNAP-tag™. Can be multiplexed for two color imaging with Janelia Fluor™ 635, NHS ester (Cat. No. 6419). Excitation and emission maxima (λ) are 525 nm and 549 nm, respectively; quantum yield = 0.91; extinction coefficient = 122,000 M-1cm-1; A280 correction factor = 0.185; lactone-zwitterion equilibrium constant (KL-Z) = 0.068.
Please see the protocol for further information on protein/antibody labeling and conjugation.
