Sandwich ELISA Kit
The Human Angiopoietin 1 (Hu APO1) ELISA quantitates Hu APO1 in human serum, plasma, or cell culture medium. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant Hu APO1. Principle of the method The Human APO1 solid-phase sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is designed to measure the amount of the target bound between a matched antibody pair. A target-specific antibody has been pre-coated in the wells of the supplied microplate. Samples, standards, or controls are then added into these wells and bind to the immobilized (capture) antibody. The sandwich is formed by the addition of the second (detector) antibody, a substrate solution is added that reacts with the enzyme-antibody-target complex to produce measurable signal. The intensity of this signal is directly proportional to the concentration of target present in the original specimen. L’angiopoïétine-1 (Ang-1) est un ligand sécrété pour le Tie-2. Les analyses biochimiques préliminaires d’ang-1 révèlent un domaine potentiel semblable au fibrinogène dans les régions à extrémité C-terminale et à superhélice dans l’extrémité N-terminale. L’ang-1 est un facteur angiogénique qui semble être impliqué dans le développement endothélial. Une protéine apparentée, l’angiopoïétine-2 (ang-2), a été identifiée comme un antagoniste naturel de l’activation d’ang-1 de Tie-2. Dans les tissus adultes, l’expression d’ang-2 semble être limitée aux sites de remodelage vasculaire.
