2-(Methylthio)adenosine 5′-diphosphate (2-methylthio-ADP) induces platelet aggregation and inhibits cAMP accumulation in platelets in-vitro. It's 3-5 times more active than ADP as an aggregating agent, and 150-200 times more active as a cAMP accumulation inhibitor.
