Applications
Dans l’industrie cosmétique, il est utilisé comme agent antistatique, conditionnement de cheveux et conditionnement de la peau. La L-leucine agit comme un signal nutritif pour stimuler la synthèse des protéines. Elle active également la cible mammifère de la rapamycine kinase qui régule la croissance cellulaire. La leucine a été utilisée comme marqueur moléculaire dans la récupération de l’ADN à partir d’échantillons paléontologiques pour l’analyse PCR.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau. Soluble dans le HCl 1M (100 mg/ml), l’eau (24,3 mg/ml), l’acide acétique (10,9 mg/ml) et l’alcool. Insoluble dans l’éther.

Remarques
Conserver à l’abri des oxydants. Gardez le récipient bien fermé et placez-le dans un endroit frais, sec et bien ventilé.
